Your child has been working hard at creating a classroom art project for the Spring Party! Scroll down the page to find your child's teacher and a picture of their art project. These projects will be included in the Classroom Art Silent Auction at the party!

Kindergarten
First Grade
Note: These plates are hand wash only. Do not use anything abrasive on them. They are not dishwasher safe. They are sprayed with an acrylic sealer, so if you start to notice peeling, just buy some sealer and spray the plate again.
second grade
The second grade classes learned about Native Americans this winter, specifically the Ojibwe nation. One thing they learned about were star quilts. Each star in a star quilt includes 200 diamonds. Generally, this is an 8-pointed star that represents Venus or the Morning Star. Within the star can be a unique design. There were 4 designs done by our classes this year: an Eagle, a Turtle, a Spiral, and a Rainbow. Hopefully you can find them when you look at the pieces. Sometimes patterns were not followed exactly; however, the children did a wonderful job in creating their own versions of star quilts. The children were very excited to make them because they were specific to something they learned about in class.
